Stu Jones - President & Founder

Dear Members, Sponsors & Powerboaters,

Many of you may have met some or all of our staff over the last year or two, but I'd like to take this opportunity to put faces with the names. Furthermore, as we continue to grow and imporove our events and the level of service we provide to our members, I feel that it is important that our customers better understand the clearly defined departments that we have within our organization. As we move into 2007, you will begin to see some big changes around FPC management, beginning with a move to our new offices in Pompano Beach, which will be followed by an internal expansion and a variety of new services being offered to our members.

So hang on for the ride, because 2007 is going to be a great year!

Jackie Jones - FPC Event Coordinator

Jackie registers all members and sponsors for FPC poker runs, which includes processing your event booking forms into our system, and making reservations for rooms and dockage. Please remember, it is imperative that all event registrations be made with the “Event Booking Form”. These may be found online, at the club website, www.flpowerboat.com. Jackie is also responsible for sending out advertising contracts for the club magazine, Powerboating In Paradise.

Membership Services

We will continue to take care of all New memberships, as well as membership renewals. For 2007 there are several NEW membership options, so be certain to go online for the details. Members that require anything other than to register for a poker run..i.e. renew membership, refer a friend, place apparel & DVD orders or request information about a resort, marina, or marine trade affiliate, we will be able to provide this information and/or process your order.

Brad Schoenwald - Safety Director

Brad has been working closely with FPC for almost a year now, assisting with event planning and logistics management, as they relate to safety for our participants and compliance with all local, state and federal laws. As a (soon-to-be) retired USCG officer, Brad clearly has the formal training and credentials to oversee this position with keen insight and professionalism. More importantly, Brad is also a performance boater who owns a 38 Cigarette, so that also makes him one of us.

Chris Odom - Photo Desk Manager

Chris is a professional photographer with many years experience in sports and marine photography. Chris attends all FPC events, spending time in the chopper, on boats, and at all poker run functions, in an effort to capture the best possible images of our members enjoying their FPC boating adventures. Equally important is managing these extensive photo archives and getting quality enlargements, reproductions, website galleries, and magazine editorial photos distributed in a timely fashion. We’ve upgraded all of our photo re-production equipment, and ask that you take advantage of Chris’ expertise, to get your home & office covered with great shots of your prized possession!

Bruno Koplin - Videographer/Editor

Bruno Koplin is an Art Institute graduate who has been working with FPC for over a year, shooting digital video from helicopters and members boats, and conduction post-production on event videos at our Pompano studio. Using a Mac-based Final Cut Pro(FCP) suite that was acquired in 2006, Bruno constantly seeks ways to improve the quality of production that now comes exclusively in DVD format to our members. As more staff are recruited to assist the club in the area of video production, quicker turnaround times will be assured.

Juan Grisales - Art Director

Juan is a BCC graphic design student who has been assisting FPC with the development and production of the club magazine, Powerboating in Paradise, as well as many internally produced items such as DVD media & packaging, and printed collateral materials that are required for events and club promotions.
