promote safe, responsible powerboating in a group setting and assist
performace boating enthusiasts in many ways to achieve the maximum enjoyment
from their Florida powerboating lifestyles.

Club
Events & Television Coverage
There
are approximately 20 powerboating events planned for 2000. Events range
from 1-day to 7-day excursions, including rallies and Poker Runs. Average
cruising speeds are 50-60 mph. Most trips favor the fair-weather, calm-water
conditions. Events are canceled and/or re-re-routed in cases of foul
weather. All events are taped using Betacam SP format from a helicopter
that follows the pack. In-boat cameras include handheld Digital Videos
from the cockpit and dash mounted pencil-cams.

publishes a 32 page color newsletter "Powerboating In Paradise
News" four times annually Regular FPC news articles can also be
found in Poker Runs America, Hot Boat, Boating & Powerboat Magazine.
Television
Club
events can be seen on Speedvision and Sunshine Network, Via the "Powerboat
Television Show" and "Maximum Marine". The Sunshine Network
schedule for "Powerboating in Paradise TV" is currently on
hold pending review of other network opportunities.
